On January 29, 2018, Sharon K. Heydenreich, 65, of Bloomsburg, found peace and comfort after a long heroic battle with cancer with her husband Rich by her side for the last three weeks.
Sharon was the daughter of the late Jack and Ruth (Hess) Brooking, born July 29, 1952. She graduated from Bloomsburg High School class of 1971. Sharon married the love of her life Richard on June 7, 1975.
She was employed for years as a secretary at Milco Industries and later by the Bloomsburg School district as a teachers aid, retiring in 2012 because of her health. Sharon, husband Rich, and children ran a concession stand at various fairs and events for over 30 years. She was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren in sporting events. She particularly enjoyed watching her daughter and son racing micro sprint and midget race cars. She loved going to concerts, going out to eat, but her greatest love was caring for her family, especially her two grandsons. Sharon enjoyed the companionship from her two dogs Macy and Winston.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother Steve Brooking.
Sharon is survived by her husband Rich, son Eric and wife Jessalynn of Bloomsburg, daughter Whitney and fiancé Chad Lunger of Danville, and grandchildren Cole and Dane.
