Carolyn Ann Pennypacker, 88, was called home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2024, following a short illness.
She was born Carolyn Ann Robbins on August 5, 1935, in Bloomsburg to the late Alton and Rettie Robbins. Carolyn graduated from Millville High School in 1953.
After High School, Carolyn worked for Girton Manufacturing Company in Millville.
In 1954, she married her soulmate, Delbert Pennypacker, at Derrs Christian Church, and they celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on June 4, 2023. They went on to have four sons, all of whom are married: David and his wife Jo of Danville, James and his wife Vickey, also of Danville, Steven and his wife Lisa of Raleigh, NC, and Daniel and his wife Caroline of Phoenix, AZ. Carolyn has six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In 1994, Carolyn retired from Girton Manufacturing Company, and she and retired District Judge Delbert moved to The Villages in Florida. They returned home to reside in Millville in 2020.
Carolyn loved her cats, enjoyed QVC, and doing jigsaw puzzles. Her biggest passion in life was being together with her family.
Carolyn is predeceased by her parents and her sister Evelyn Long.
Carolyn will be interred at the National Cemetery at Fort Indiantown Gap.
