Rodney L. Faus, 69, of Orangeville, passed away on February 2, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center Danville. He was born December 27, 1954, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Paul and Audrey (Adams) Faus.
He was a graduate of Central Columbia High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Rodney was a mechanic for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for over 30 years. He belonged to the Independent Biker Federation, Totally Hooked Pulling Tractor Club, and was a social member of the Berwick V.F.W. Post 821. Rod enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything mechanical. He and his brother Kevin started the first Lawn Mower Racing out at Greenwood Action Track.
Rod is survived by three children; Christopher M. Faus and his wife Jennifer of Bryan, Ohio, Jessica Swigart and her husband Andrew of Stillwater, and Thomas R. Faus of Bloomsburg, nine grandchildren; Courtney, Corey, Katlyn, Joshua, Dane, Rhylin, Lara, Tatum, and Colin, five brothers; Paul L. Faus and his wife Paula of Bloomsburg, Terry L. Faus, and his wife Joanne of Mulino, Oregon, Dennis E. Faus of Millville, Kevin E. Faus and his wife Tina of Orangeville, and Scott D. Faus and his wife Jennifer of Coal Township, and sister Melissa Steenburg and her husband Christopher of Bloomsburg, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held May 25, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Rod’s Garage, 116 Asbury Rd. Orangeville, with military honor guard from the Berwick V.F.W. Post 821, providing services.
