Obituary for Lee E. Greenly

Lee E. Greenly, 84, of Millville passed away January 22, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born August 18, 1933 in Millville, a son of the late LaRue H. and Florence (Gardner) Greenly.
He graduated from Millville High School class of 1951 and then joined the United States Army during the Korean War. Lee was a member of the Millville American Legion Post 564, Danville Moose #1133, Millville Fire Co., and Continental Fire Co. in Danville. Lee enjoyed square dancing, where he met his wife, hunting, fishing, and most of all camping. He worked at Millville Lumber Products, B.O. Dobler Plumbing and Heating, and then in 1972 he starting his own business Lee Greenly Plumbing and Heating.
Lee is survived by his wife the former Caroline Snyder, whom he married June 13, 1953, daughter Carol Ann Selby of Houston, Texas, six grandchildren; Christopher Zeisloft, Michael Selby, Jerry Selby, Patrick Selby, Heather Ellsworth, and Wade Greenly, and brother Gerald Greenly and wife Ruth of Milton.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents as well as his son Gene Greenly who passed away in 2007, sister Jane Greenly, two brothers Richard and Jay Greenly, and daughter-in-law Kay Smith of Orangeville.
A memorial service will be held Monday January 29, 2018 at 11:00 am at Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville with Pastor Rich Plocinski of Millville Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service.
