J. Marguerite Hock Shultz, 99, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019, at the Gardens at Millville. She was born on Jan. 20, 1920, and grew up on the County Farm, Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late George M. and Mariah (Thomas) Hock.
She graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1938, and Wilkes-Barre Business College. Marguerite worked on the farm with her husband, Harold, for over 40 years.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; sister, Leona Yohey;, and four brothers: Eugene {Gene}, Larue, Horace {Tinker}, and Harry Hock. She was also proceeded in death by her beloved husband of almost 60 years, Harold, and her daughter, Janice Marie.
She leaves to mourn her: two daughters, Rosemary Shultz, Danville, Carolyn and Jack Shuey, Culpeper, Va., and son, Ronald H., and Linda Shultz, Bloomsburg; granddaughters: Susan and Mike Beasley, Lorton, Va., Heather Shultz, Turbotville; and two great-granddaughters: Natalie and Kaitlyn Beasley. Also surviving Marguerite are her two brothers, Ray and C. Clair Hock, Bloomsburg.
Harold and Marguerite were longtime members of Katy’s Church, Jerseytown.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at 2 p.m. at New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg, with Jered Hock, her nephew, officiating. Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc., Millville, is in charge of arrangements

Rosemary, Carolyn, Ronnie and families, It is always sad to lose a parent, but those we love are so intricately and tightly woven into the fabrics of our lives that they are never truly "gone".
