Gerald Eugene “Bud” Reibsome, 75, of Danville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, at Emmanuel Nursing Home. He was born Aug. 6, 1944, in Danville, a son of the late John and Catherine “Cass” (Bennett) Reibsome.

He attended Danville schools and worked at Roselon Yarns. He loved football, baseball, and played the lottery everyday. Bud was a member of the American Legion Post 40, VFW Post 298, and the Danville Moose 1133.

Bud is survived by his son, Brian Reibsome, of Bloomsburg; three brothers: Irvin Reibsome and his wife, Sandra, of Riverside, Larry Reibsome and his wife, Iris, of Danville, and Kenneth Reibsome and his wife, Lois, of Bloomsburg; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bud was preceded in death by his daughter, Trudy Reibsome; three brothers: John, Lee and Warren Reibsome; and two sisters: Shirley Beers and Holly Temple.
