Ellen L. (Johnson) Kitchen

Ellen L. Kitchen, 86, of Millville passed away on Thursday February 26, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born at home in Millville on January 18, 1940, a daughter of the late Cliffton and Mildred (Snyder) Johnson.

She graduated from Millville High School and worked and retired from Thrush Insurance Agency. Ellen was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and planting and growing flowers.

Ellen is survived by her son Steven Kitchen wife Sandra of Millville, two grandchildren; Zachary Kitchen wife Kanette of Mt. Carmel, Alicia Kitchen of Lewisburg, two greatgrandchildren: Vivian and Mazikeen Kitchen, and sister Betty Jean Mathias of Watsontown.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband George A. Kitchen, who passed away in 2008, brother Dale Clayton Johnson, and sister Janet Eileen Johnson.

Services will be at the convenience of the family at Columbia Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may send online condolences to bunnellfuneralhome.com.
