Helen Mertz Obituary
Helen R. Mertz 90, of Bloomsburg, went to be with the Lord, Monday April 22, 2024, at her residence. She was born August 25, 1933, in Mahony City, a daughter of the late William and Mary (Tomaszwski) Reeves.
She graduated from Mahony High School and worked as a C.N.A. for many years. Helen enjoyed knitting and making plastic home décor for her house.
Helen is survived by her son, Michael Whalen and his wife Cindy from Catawissa, granddaughter Nicole and two great grandchildren, Aury and Indy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three spouses: James Whalen, Joseph Dillman, Dennis Mertz, brother David Reeves and sister Frances Vanhorn.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Sky-View Memorial Park in Tamaqua Pa.
